Vector Institute
Sheng Jia is a research student at the Vector Institute since May 2018, focusing on machine learning projects. Prior experience includes a software engineer internship at Intel Corporation from May 2017 to August 2018, where Sheng worked on Quartus and internal tools, and a summer internship at the National University of Singapore in 2016, developing artificial muscles. Sheng Jia is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning at the University of Toronto, after completing a Master of Science in the same field from January 2021 to 2024 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Robotics from 2014 to 2019.
