Nicholas Hutchings

Nicholas Hutchings is an experienced leader in the biotechnology sector with a robust background in antibody engineering and proteomics. Currently serving as a Board Advisor at Vector Laboratories, Inc. since June 2024, Nicholas played a pivotal role in the merger of Absolute Antibody and Vector Labs. Previously, Nicholas held roles such as Non-Executive Director at mAbsolve, Non-Executive Board Member and Advisor at Absolute Biotech, and Chief Technology Officer at LifeSpan BioSciences, Inc. Nicholas founded Absolute Antibody Ltd in 2012, promoting the vision of sequencing and recombinantly producing all antibodies, leading to a successful exit in December 2020. Earlier experience includes founding Everest Biotech Ltd, where strategic vision and development were key focuses. Nicholas holds a D Phil in Immunology and an M. Biochem. in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
