Jasmine Mirshahabi

Jasmine Mirshahabi has over 12 years of work experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruiting. Jasmine began their career in 2010 as a Recruiting Manager at MetLife of Southern California. In 2012, they joined Lieberman Research Worldwide as a Talent Acquisition Manager, where they were responsible for designing and implementing company-wide recruitment initiatives and overseeing team operations, logistics, and analysis. Jasmine also managed two direct-reports and regularly attended networking functions, career fairs, workshops, and training sessions about recruitment and market research and consulting. In 2018, they joined SpaceX as a Technical Recruiter and was responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, testing, interviewing, and negotiating compensation packages for the Vehicle Engineering team. In 2019, they joined Compass as a Recruiting Manager for the Engineering team and later became the Recruiting Lead for the April 2021 IPO. Currently, they are a Talent Manager at Redpanda Data, a fully Kafka compatible event streaming platform. Jasmine is a proud leader on the global talent team and is helping to build the next generation streaming platform with WASM inline transforms, global replication, and hierarchical storage.

Jasmine Mirshahabi earned two Bachelor's degrees from UC Irvine, one in Social Psychology and one in Criminology.
