Jonathan Barrett

Jonathan Barrett is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in managing and directing operations at Vectra AI since May 2016. As Sr. Director, Consulting Analyst, Jonathan leads a global Managed Detection Response team, overseeing 38 analysts and coordinating incident response efforts. Previously, Jonathan has held progressively responsible roles within Vectra, including Director and Manager, where responsibilities included designing the MDR service and opening a regional security operations center in India. Prior to Vectra, Jonathan worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Red Team Operator and Cyber Incident Responder, focusing on vulnerability assessment and incident response procedures. Jonathan holds a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a B.S. in Computer Science and Business from Northeastern University. Additional career highlights include co-founding Rummagers Group, LLC, and contributing web development skills to various organizations including Harvard University and The MathWorks.
