Manoj Kumar Gaur

Manoj Kumar Gaur is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Principal Wells Operations Geologist at Cairn Energy since 2008 and Project Operation Manager - Offshore at Vedanta Limited - Cairn since February 2018. Gaur has been instrumental in delivering operational geology for domestic and offshore projects, optimizing well costs, and supporting drilling initiatives. Previous roles include Team Lead in Geological Operations at Reliance Industries, where significant gas discoveries were made, and G&G interpretation responsibilities at Tullow Oil India. Gaur's career began at Geoservices India and includes a strong academic foundation with an M.Sc. in Applied Geology from Kurukshetra University.
