Shivakumar Ss

Shivakumar SS has extensive experience in the aluminium industry, currently serving as the Head of Sustaining CAPEX Smelter and Raw Material Planning at Vedanta Limited, overseeing significant project execution and management since February 2009. Previous roles include Head of Carbon Projects and Operations Manager, focusing on enhancing operations in raw material handling and fume treatment at a 0.55 mTPA aluminium plant. Prior to joining Vedanta, Shivakumar held the position of Assistant Manager at The Madras Aluminium Company Ltd. Shivakumar is further advancing professional qualifications through multiple executive management development programs in project and supply chain management at prestigious institutions, including XLRI and IIM Kozhikode, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
