Praveen George

Praveen George has extensive work experience in the human resources field. Praveen currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Vedanta Sesa Goa, where they oversee the iron ore business. Prior to this, Praveen held the same position at Vedanta Limited Sesa Goa Iron Ore Business & Ferro Alloys. From 2015 to 2019, they served as Chief People Officer for the Iron Ore Business in Karnataka. Praveen began their career at Vedanta Limited - Aluminium Business in 2008, where they held the role of Head of Talent Management until 2015.

Praveen George completed their High School education in Science at Cluny Matriculation and Higher Secondary School. Praveen then pursued Higher Secondary Schooling in Science at Don Bosco, Tirupattur. Praveen went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from Loyola College, Chennai from 2003 to 2006. Praveen further advanced their education by completing an MBA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration at LIBA from 2006 to 2008.
