Pieter van Greunen

Pieter van Greunen possesses extensive experience in the mining and metallurgy industry, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Vedanta Resources Limited and holding a directorial position at NutrientLoop. Pieter's career includes leading metallurgy and security teams as the Head of Metallurgy, Security and Loss Prevention at The De Beers Group of Companies. Prior roles include Head of Business Improvement at Anglo American, Strategic Technical Manager at Anglo Base Metals, and various management positions at Skorpion Zinc and AngloGold Ashanti. Pieter holds an MBA in Strategic and Financial Management from North-West University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Management from the University of Pretoria, as well as a National Higher Diploma in Extractive Metallurgy.
