Thomas A. Zimmer

Thomas A. Zimmer is a Shareholder at Vedder Price since February 2016, bringing over 20 years of expertise in domestic and cross-border equipment leasing and asset-based financing transactions. Zimmer has represented various parties, including equity, debt, and operators, in numerous transactions involving aircraft, rail, vessels, and equipment and facilities. Experience includes leveraged and operating leases, cross-border transactions, portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, warehouse financings, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. Prior to Vedder Price, Zimmer served as a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP from April 2013 to February 2016 and at Holland & Knight LLP from April 1993 to April 2013. Zimmer holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School, along with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Michigan.
