Hassan Mahdavi

Hassan Mahdavi is an experienced urban mobility specialist currently working at VEDECOM since July 2019. Prior to this role, Hassan served as a postdoctoral researcher in transit system management at IFSTTAR from June 2017 to May 2019, focusing on public transit operation and disruption management. From January 2012 to August 2015, Hassan worked as a transport engineer at the Transport Research and Injury Prevention Programme Center of Excellence (TRIPP-IITD), collaborating with the Volvo Research & Educational Foundations (VREF) group. Hassan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transportation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, obtained in 2015, a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, completed in 2010, and a Bachelor's degree in City and Regional Planning from Middle East Technical University, earned in 2007.
