John J. McLendon has extensive experience in channel strategy and business development, currently serving as Senior Director of Worldwide Channel Commerce Strategy at Veeam Software since June 2021, after holding the position of Director of Worldwide Channel Programs. Prior to Veeam, McLendon was Director of Global Channel Strategy & Programs at Forcepoint from January 2019 to May 2021. McLendon’s career also includes significant roles at Tech Data as Director of Business Development and various management positions at Avnet Technology Solutions, demonstrating a strong background in strategic partnerships, supplier recruitment, and sales management. McLendon began professional experience as an Account Manager at Frost & Sullivan and Team Manager at InfoNXX. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Legal Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio and further studies at Auburn University at Montgomery and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
