Drew Hanser

Drew Hanser has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various companies and roles. Drew began their career at North Carolina State University as a Post-doctoral Researcher in 1998. Drew then moved on to Kyma Technologies, where they worked as a Senior GaN Development Engineer from 1999 to 2002. Following this, Hanser served as the Director of Research and Development at Kyma Technologies from 2003 to 2004. Drew then assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at Kyma Technologies from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they also worked as a Visiting Research Scientist at North Carolina State University for a brief period. In 2009, Hanser joined SRI International as a Program Manager, focusing on the development of high efficiency inverters for solar power applications. Their most recent position is with Veeco, where they have held several roles including Director of Technology, Director of Engineering & Technology, Sr. Director of Engineering & Technology, and currently, Vice President of Technology since December 2018.

Drew Hanser completed a B.S. degree in Ceramic Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, which took place from 1988 to 1992. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1998, Drew pursued a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University.
