Richard Peterson

Richard Peterson has extensive experience in technical and product support roles, currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Product Support at Veeco since December 2009. Previous positions at Veeco include Technical Product Support Manager and Technical Support Engineer. Prior to Veeco, Richard attended ECPI College of Technology, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in Database Programming. Richard's earlier experience includes serving as Technical Supervisor and Equipment Technician at Qimonda North America, as well as roles in technical support and field service at companies such as CFM Technologies and Mattson Technology. Richard's career began in the United States Navy, where qualifications as an Electronics Technician and Surface Navy Nuclear Power Reactor Operator were earned. Richard's educational background includes institutions such as ECPI University and multiple Navy training schools.
