Scott Priddy is a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Veeco Instruments, where Scott has worked since November 1993. In this role, Scott specializes in the design and development of Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) systems and components, as well as Thermal Evaporation Sources for vacuum deposition applications, including CIGS Solar and Organic OLED technologies. Prior to this, Scott served as a Mechanical Engineer at Physical Electronics, a division of Perkin-Elmer, from September 1983 to November 1993, focusing on the design of UHV vacuum systems and components for surface analysis equipment, as well as the design and manufacturing of ion pumps and vacuum components for UHV systems.
