Chris Bacon, CPA, CMA

Chris Bacon, CPA, CMA has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Chris worked at VEERUM as the Director of Finance from October 2019 to present, where they oversee financial operations. Prior to this, they served as the Financial Controller from April 2018 to September 2019, managing financial reporting and analysis. Chris also worked as the Business Operations Manager from October 2017 to March 2018, where they played a key role in optimizing business processes.

Before joining VEERUM, Chris worked at Vista Projects as a Project Manager/Coordinator from September 2014 to March 2015. Chris also served as the HSE Coordinator and Facilities Lead from November 2012 to September 2014, demonstrating their diverse skill set in project management and facility operations.

In the earlier years of their career, Chris worked at Ryan Vending. Chris held the position of Senior Business Manager from January 2008 to September 2011, overseeing business operations. Chris also worked as a Territory Manager from January 2006 to December 2007, responsible for territory management and client relations. Chris began their career at Ryan Vending as a Business Analyst in Supply Chain from January 2000 to December 2005, where they conducted analysis to improve supply chain operations.

Chris Bacon, CPA, CMA attended Camosun College, where they obtained a Business Diploma in Business Management. Following this, they enrolled at Michigan State University for executive development in 2006. In 2012, they briefly attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) for a course on the petroleum industry. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, they completed the CMA Designation in Accounting and Business Management at the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta.
