Bahtiyar Tan

Bahtiyar Tan has a strong background in software engineering and technology management. Bahtiyar started their career at Istanbul Technical University, where they worked as a Software Developer and later as a Software Engineer. Bahtiyar was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various IT projects using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server.

In 2008, Bahtiyar joined IAS - Industrial Application Software as a Software Engineer. Bahtiyar played a key role in the design and development of the Troia Programming Platform and various projects using Java and React.js. As they gained experience, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer, where they led design and development teams and played a crucial role in creating high-quality software.

In 2012, Bahtiyar transitioned to the role of Software Engineering Manager (R&D) at IAS. In this position, they managed and built teams for Java and React.js projects, including those supported by TUBITAK. Bahtiyar also oversaw the development and maintenance of the company's strategic software assets, such as application servers and web clients.

Recently, Bahtiyar has taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer at IAS. Bahtiyar is responsible for defining and developing the IT strategy of the enterprise, identifying and managing technological resources, and monitoring and reporting technological advancements. Bahtiyar guides the execution of the IT strategy and ensures the continued technological development of the enterprise and its products.

Bahtiyar Tan completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Istanbul Technical University from 2002 to 2008. Bahtiyar then pursued a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Bahcesehir University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Bahtiyar Tan has obtained certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Bahtiyar became an Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer through Oracle in May 2021. In May 2020, they also obtained a certification in Probability & Statistics from Udemy.
