Vega Collegiate Academy
Dr. Ashley Phillips is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Director of Student Services at Vega Collegiate Academy since January 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Phillips coordinated bullying prevention and student support at Mapleton Public Schools and worked as a counselor at various institutions, including Aurora, Joliet Public Schools District 86, and PLANO COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT #88. Significant achievements include establishing a comprehensive counseling program at Vega Collegiate Academy and successfully launching a college and career day at Joliet Public Schools. Dr. Phillips is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from the University of Colorado Denver and holds a Master's degree in School Counseling from Roosevelt University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a Mental Health Certificate from Capella University.
