Sonny B / Dj Typhoon

Sonny B, also known as DJ Typhoon, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the music industry. In 1991, they began their career as a concept developer, booker, promoter, organizer, and DJ for various clubs and events, hosting renowned artists such as House Of Pain, Jazzy Jeff, and The Roots. In 1994, they founded Boulevard Connection/Sonny B. Recordings, a record label distributed by Universal Music that featured collaborations with artists like Common, Guru, and Erick Sermon. Alongside their record label, they also founded W16 and Boulevard Connection - Marketing, where they worked as the founder and CEO, managing operations and spearheading street marketing campaigns for notable clients. In recent years, they have continued their involvement in the music industry as the founder, concept developer, and DJ of Born Into the 90's, as well as taking on roles in festivals such as Næverland and Distortion Festival. Additionally, Sonny B has experience working as an educational assistant for troubled youths and as a special pædagog at Hans Knudsen Instituttet.

Sonny B, also known as DJ Typhoon, pursued professional training as a vane coach at Professionshøjskolen Metropol - Metropolitan University College from 2020 to 2021. Sonny also attended Roskilde Handelsskole from 1989 to 1991, where they completed a 2-year business degree.
