Rena Thomas has a wealth of experience in the technology and research fields. Rena began their career in 2012 as a Research Assistant at The Rockefeller University, where they managed experimental data for the Laboratory of Neuroendocrinology. That same year, they were a Summer Intern at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they worked on a new technology to enhance cancer treatment. In 2014, they were a Quantitative Analyst at Greystone & Co. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they were a full-stack developer of various in-house applications and programmed products from inception to production. In 2018, they became an Advisory Software Engineer at CollegePass, where they trained and resourced thousands of teachers. Lastly, they are currently the Chief Technology Officer at VeganNation, where they are developing an ecosystem designed to unite the global vegan community into a shared economy.

Rena Thomas attended Yeshiva University from 2011 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Physics. Rena then attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2015 to 2016, studying Computer Science. In March 2014, they obtained a certification in Commercial Real Estate Basics from the Mortgage Bankers Association.
