Dr. Niki Bates

Dr. Niki Bates has a diverse work experience that includes roles in education and business development. Dr. Niki served as the Executive Director of Education & Business Development at Vegas PBS starting in October 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Director III of Educational Media Services at the same organization. Before joining Vegas PBS, Dr. Bates worked in various roles at Clark County School District, including Assistant Principal and Director of the Office of Deputy Superintendent. Their career began as a Teacher and Coordinator at the school district in 1993. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as an Account Executive at Scholastic.

Dr. Niki Bates holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University, a Bachelor's degree in Education from San Diego State University, and a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from the same institution. Dr. Niki also obtained certifications in Executive Leadership in Education from The Public Education Foundation Leadership Institute of Nevada and a certification in Public Policy Leadership in Education from UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. Dr. Niki participated in an Executive Leadership in Education program at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy.
