Axel Ek

Axel Ek has over two decades of experience in various leadership roles within the technology and business sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Services and Business Solutions at Veikkaus Oy since May 2018, Axel has previously held positions such as Head of Business Applications and Systems, and Head of ICT Development. Prior experience includes serving as Tietohallintopäällikkö (CIO) for the City of Porvoo from May 2012 to May 2018, and as Managing Consultant at HiQ from February 2011 to May 2012. Earlier career positions include managerial and specialist roles at Uponor Business Solutions Oy and an accountant position at Borealis. Axel Ek holds a degree from Arcada Polytechnic University of Applied Science, completed in 2003.
