Hannu Könönen

Hannu Könönen is an experienced professional in test automation with a career spanning over 16 years. Currently serving as the Test Automation Lead at Veikkaus Oy since December 2019, Hannu specializes in cloud transformation and combines test automation with robotic process automation (RPA) using tools such as Robot Framework, Python, Jenkins, GCP, and Kubernetes. Prior to this role, Hannu was a Senior Test Automation Consultant at Q-Factory Oy from November 2017 to December 2019, where the focus was on empowering customers with test automation solutions. Hannu's earlier experience includes roles as a Test Automation Specialist and Senior Software Designer at Symbio from December 2009 to November 2017, and as a Senior Software Designer at Ardites Oy from November 2007 to December 2009. The career began as a Test Engineer at Plenware from May 2006 to October 2007. Hannu holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Oulu, obtained between 2002 and 2008.
