Mikko Lahti

Mikko Lahti serves as the Vice President of Security and Risk Management at Veikkaus Oy since August 2021, previously holding various leadership roles in security and risk management at Nokia from April 2012 to July 2021. This includes positions such as Head of Safety and Security for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as Head of Corporate Security and Head of Risk & Resilience. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Security for North and East Europe at NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS HOLDING SL from January 2007 to March 2012, and positions at Nokia from April 1998 to December 2006 in business continuity management and regional security management. Mikko Lahti began a career in security with Securitas Group from June 1995 to March 1998 and completed military service with the Finnish Defence Forces in 1993. Educational credentials include an Executive Strategy and Leadership Program in International Security Management from Georgetown University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Safety, Security, and Risk Management from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, and ongoing studies in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security at the University of Helsinki.
