Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden
Camille Michel has extensive experience in the field of public safety and emergency management. Currently serving as Directeur Brandweerzorg and Multi Manager at Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden since August 2018, Camille has also held the role of Teamleader at USAR.nl since 2011. Previous positions include Programma Landelijke Meldkamer Organisatie: Regionaal Kwartiermaker at Politie Nederland from March 2015 to 2019 and Hoofd Operationele Ondersteuning at Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden from 2010 to January 2016. Camille's leadership experience is further demonstrated through roles as Commandant for both Gemeente Leidschendam-Voorburg and Gemeente Wassenaar in 2009-2010, and Chief of Operations at The Hague Fire Department from January 2007 to January 2009. Academic achievements include an MCDm in Public Safety from Nederlandse School voor Openbaar Bestuur and a degree in Political Science from Leiden University. Additionally, Camille attended Clemson University in 1992 for further education.
