Guusje Eggen

Guusje Eggen currently serves as a Beleidsmedewerker Zorg at Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden since July 2023. Prior to this role, Guusje held various positions at GGD Haaglanden from May 2019 to November 2023, including Procesleider Medische Milieukunde and Adviseur Medische Milieukunde. Guusje also coordinated COVID-19 testing efforts during the pandemic and served as an bestuurslid at Rode Kruis Nederland from February 2020 to December 2021. Additional experience includes roles at Veiligheidsregio Rotterdam-Rijnmond, Gemeente Rotterdam, and IKNL, with a foundation in training and advising on public health and emergency response, particularly in the fields of environmental health and disaster medicine. Guusje holds a Master of Science in Global Health from Maastricht University and certifications in Basic Life Support and Disaster Medicine.
