Sindy M.

Sindy M. is an experienced communication advisor currently working at Overheid since November 2022, where responsibilities include advising and supporting the business operations and social domain departments. Since December 2017, Sindy has held the position of Head of Task Organization Communication (Hto-C) at Veiligheidsregio Hollands Midden, while also serving as an advisor in risk and crisis communication during a secondment. Previous roles include communication advisor at Gemeente Nieuwkoop from July 2017 to October 2022, where Sindy supported various departments and managed communication strategies for several projects, as well as serving as spokesperson for the mayor. Earlier work experience includes project leadership in communication and community support at Wikimedia Nederland and various roles in educational and leisure services. Sindy holds a Bachelor’s degree in information and communication technology from Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag and has additional qualifications in communication management and retail management.
