Florentine Lourens

Florentine Lourens has extensive experience in crisis communication and internal communication. Currently serving as Coördinator crisiscommunicatie at Veiligheidsregio Twente since August 2016, Florentine is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating strategic policy in crisis communication while advising the board and management at a strategic level. Prior to this role, Florentine was a Communication Advisor for Internal Communication at the University of Twente, focusing on strategy communication and change communication, and held the position of Communication Employee for the Faculty of Management and Governance. Florentine's educational background includes a Master of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Twente, along with various certifications and training in crisis communication and internal communication strategies.
