Jan de Vries

Jan de Vries serves as the coordinator for core incident management at Veiligheidsregio Twente since September 2013 and also holds the position of secretary for the Works Council. Since May 2010, Jan de Vries has acted as a senior specialist in health advisory services at GHOR Twente, focusing on risk management, external safety, infrastructure, and event advising. Previous roles include health advisor at Hulpverleningsdienst Regio Twente from January 2003 to May 2010, risk management staff member at GGD Twente, Bureau GHOR from November 1997 to January 2003, general healthcare physician at GGD Regio Twente from January 1994 to November 1997, and youth physician at DG & GD Gemeentekring Almelo from January 1983 to January 1994. Educational qualifications include a degree in medicine from Erasmus University Rotterdam (1973-1980) and a degree in social medicine specializing in youth health from Instituut Sociale Geneeskunde Nijmegen (1986-1989).
