Kyra Haas

Kyra Haas has extensive experience in communication within the public sector, currently serving as the Head of Communication for Gemeente Hengelo since 2002, where responsibilities include leading the Communication Department and advising the mayor and executive management. Prior roles at Gemeente Hengelo involved serving as a communication advisor to municipal officials and managing public relations and internal communication efforts. Since January 2018, Kyra Haas has also held the position of Strategic Advisor at Veiligheidsregio Twente. Earlier professional experience includes a consultancy role at Calibre Alignment B.V. from 2001 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Twente and initial studies in Social Sciences at Utrecht University, along with a secondary education from Waerdenborch Holten.
