Maarten Smelt

Maarten Smelt is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency services, procurement, and training. Currently serving as an IJS Smelt - Ademhaling en IJsbad Coach and as Chairman of Stichting Nieuwjaarsduik Almelo, Maarten focuses on coaching and organizing community events. Since 2008, Maarten has held various roles at Veiligheidsregio Twente, including Strategic Buyer and Officer of Duty, overseeing operational coordination and compliance in procurement.
