Sanna Huovinen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in marketing and brand management. Sanna currently works as the Marketing & Brand Director at Veke since October 2022. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2022, Sanna held multiple roles at Honkarakenne. As the Vice President Marketing, they successfully renewed the Honka brand and expanded its reach from cabins to residential houses and B2B segment, positioning Honka among the top 10 largest residential house manufacturers in Finland. Sanna also served as the Marketing Director, where they led a team of professionals and gained valuable leadership experience. Before that, as the Marketing Manager for Export Sales, they were responsible for renewing Honka's websites in over 20 countries and implementing a global content and digital marketing strategy. Additionally, as the Marketing Manager for Finland, Sanna utilized customer journey mapping and launched an inbound marketing program, which significantly increased online lead generation and sales from web leads.

Prior to their tenure at Honkarakenne, Sanna worked at Kesko - K-Group from 2004 to 2012. Their roles at Kesko included Web Chief Editor, where they renewed the K-rauta and Rautia websites in multiple countries and developed content and digital marketing concepts. Sanna also served as an Account Manager and part of the brand team, contributing to the development of brand strategy tools and KPIs. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Communications Officer, responsible for PR and marketing actions for the Kesko brand.

Sanna's work experience began at Simetron Group in 2001, where they started as a Marketing Assistant. In this role, they created marketing and PR material for car brands Suzuki and Hyundai and coordinated the development of the respective websites.

Throughout their career, Sanna has gained expertise in various areas of marketing, including brand management, leadership, digital marketing, website development, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media.

Sanna Huovinen completed their undergraduate education at Aalto University from 1998 to 2004. Sanna earned a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Information Systems. In addition, they participated in an Overseas Studies Program at The University of Hong Kong in 2001, focusing on information systems and consumer behavior for one semester.
