Joop van Doorn

Joop van Doorn has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Joop started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Wescon BV (Stork) in 1985. Joop then worked as a Project Manager at Vekoma Rides Manufacturing from 1990 to 1996. Joop then moved on to Saco BV, where they served as a Production Manager from 1996 to 1999. After that, they joined Rockwool Lapinus Production as a Production Manager from 1999 to 2012. Currently, they are working at Vekoma Rides as the Manager Production since September 2012 and additionally holds the position of Chief Operating Officer since January 2019.

Joop van Doorn attended Hoogveld College from 1975 to 1980, where they obtained a Havo degree. Following that, they pursued Mechanical Engineering at HTS s'Hertogenbosch from 1980 to 1985, ultimately earning an Ing degree in the field.
