Erwin Wiersma

Erwin Wiersma has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Erwin started their career in 2008 at McDonald's Nederland, where they worked part-time until 2013. In 2011, Erwin began their studies as a Bachelor Communications and Multimedia Design student at NHL Hogeschool, specializing in creating games for companies.

In 2014, Erwin interned at Triumph Studios, gaining experience in QA/Gamedesign. Erwin then joined the Dutch College League in 2016 as a Play by Play Shoutcaster, commentating on collegiate esports tournaments.

In 2017, Erwin joined Electronic Arts (EA) as a Dutch Game Advisor, handling player contacts and focusing on engagement and player experience. Erwin later transitioned to the role of Social Media Specialist, engaging with players on EA's Twitter and Facebook pages. In 2021, Erwin became the Dutch Community Coordinator at EA, moderating and engaging with players on official EA game forums and Answers HQ.

Currently, Erwin works at Vela Games as a Community Manager, responsible for managing and engaging with the community.

Erwin Wiersma obtained a Bachelor's degree in Gamedesign & Communication from Communicatie & Multimedia Design HBO NHL. Erwin attended the institution from 2011 to 2017.
