Austin Powell

Austin Powell is currently a Law Clerk at Vela Wood since May 2023 and holds dual roles as Managing Partner and General Partner at Pioneer Venture Group, focusing on investments in early-stage start-ups in the Rocky Mountain region. Austin has prior experience as a Legal Secretary at Vela Wood from January 2020 to July 2022 and completed an internship in Guest Services at Carolina Creek in 2018-2019. Austin is pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, expected to graduate in May 2025, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from George Mason University, obtained in 2018.
