Norzaidi Zahidin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Norzaidi currently holds the position of Vice President Drilling Operations at Velesto Energy Berhad, a role they began in September 2022.

In 2007, Norzaidi briefly worked at Seadrill as a Rig Manager in Vietnam, responsible for all aspects of offshore drilling operations on a jack-up unit.
Norzaidi'scareer at Transocean began in 2000, where they held several positions. Norzaidi served as a Rig Manager in Malaysia from July 2005 to June 2007, an Asset Coordinator in Singapore from December 2004 to June 2005, and an Operations Engineer in Malaysia from November 2000 to November 2004.
