Sayed Yazid

Sayed Yazid has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Sayed started their career at Kannaltec Berhad as a Network Infrastructure Officer. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining server farms, configuring IIS for Intranet applications, and managing AVAYA servers.

After that, they joined Sutherland Global Services as a Senior Specialist in Global Technology Infrastructure. Here, their responsibilities included ensuring policy compliance, managing patch and program deployment, handling incident management and escalation processes globally, and implementing Business Continuity Plans.

Currently, Sayed is working as an Assistant Manager in IT at Velesto Energy Berhad. In this role, they manage the IT function and related operations, performs proactive performance monitoring of IT systems, services, and security compliance, and ensures that audit recommendations are implemented in a timely manner.

Overall, Sayed has gained extensive experience in IT operations and management, specifically in the areas of server maintenance, security and compliance, incident management, and business continuity planning.

Sayed Yazid attended Kajang High School from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained their high school diploma. Sayed then pursued further education at University Technology Tun Abdul Razak from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, in December 2015, Sayed Yazid obtained a certification in ITIL from AXELOS.
