Seung Hyun Woo

Seung Woo is currently working as an Associate Director at Velia, having previously held positions as a Principal Scientist at Takeda and GNF. With a strong background in research, Seung Woo led drug discovery projects focusing on RNA splicing in neurodegeneration and cancer. Prior to this, Seung Woo conducted postdoctoral research at Scripps Research, focusing on somatosensory mechanotransduction. Seung Woo also conducted skin stem/progenitor cell research during their Ph.D. thesis research at Columbia University in the City of New York. Additionally, Seung Woo worked as a tissue bank coordinator at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, assisting in collecting and banking breast cancer specimens.
