Carissa Cournoyer, MBA has held various positions in the medical and healthcare industry since 2011. Carissa began their career at Dräger in 2011, where they held the roles of Associate Program Manager, Project Coordinator, Quality Assurance Support, and Regulatory Affairs. In 2016, they moved to PAREXEL as a Project Manager. In 2017, they returned to Dräger as Lead Program Manager of Systems and Interoperability, Program Manager of Systems and Interoperability, and Program Manager of Verification and Validation. In 2022, they joined Velico Medical, Inc. as the VP of International Business Development and Special Projects.

Carissa Cournoyer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of New Hampshire, which they obtained in 2019 after studying Business Psychology. Carissa also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Keene State College, which they obtained in 2011 after studying Business Psychology. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Project Orange Belt 2010 from the International Institute for Learning in 2014, Microsoft Excel 2003: Levels 1-4 from the Computer Training Group in 2012, Project Management from the University of New Hampshire, and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
