Sean Gilman is an experienced executive in the technology and financial sectors, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Velio Labs since January 2023, where the company specializes in high-performance solutions for the financial and trading industries. Prior to this, Sean held the positions of Managing Partner and Chief Technology Officer at HC since January 2010, and was the Managing Partner and Chief Architect at HC Technologies, LLC from October 2010 to December 2022, focusing on proprietary trading in crypto, FX, and global futures. Sean's earlier career includes roles as CTO at State Street and Moneyline Telerate Inc., and CEO at SPNC, a consultancy firm that developed trading systems. Additionally, Sean co-founded EFFIX, contributing to the development of trading systems on the MATIF. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computational Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
