Akshay Mahajan

Akshay Mahajan has been working in the software development industry since 2006. Theirwork experience includes roles such as Software Developer at Mastek Ltd, Senior Software Developer at Azimuth Systems, Lead Software Developer at Velir, Technology Manager at Kodak Alaris, and Senior Manager, Technology and Software Engineering at Hearts On Fire. At Mastek Ltd, Akshay developed windows based and web-based applications using SQL Server, C#, ASP. Net, ADO. Net, JavaScript, and XML. Akshay also created and tested various DTS packages using SQL Server. At Kodak Alaris, Akshay managed the day-to-day activities of engineering teams within an Agile/Scrum environment, mentored and coached team members, effectively collaborated with internal and external teams, contributed to product vision and roadmap, managed software development key performance indicators, and fostered innovation and experimentation. Akshay is currently employed as Technical Director at Velir.

Akshay Mahajan completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University between 2002 and 2006. Akshay then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University between 2007 and 2008. In December 2019, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org. In May 2015, they obtained a Sitecore certification from Sitecore.
