Richard Pastenes

Richard Pastenes has over 10 years of professional experience in the web development and design industry. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Professional Studio Photographer for Bill Smith Photo and as a Support Lead for Dotster. Richard also worked as a Freelance Web Designer and an Intern for Spot Color Marketing during this time. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Web Developer for Nia Technique. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Frontend Developer, Lead Web Developer, and Web Developer for Intuitive Digital. In 2020, they were a Senior Software Developer for ThinkShout and in 2022, they were a Technologist for Matter Supply Co. Currently, they are a Sr. Front-End Developer for Velir.

Richard Pastenes obtained an Associates in Web Design and Development from Portland Community College between 2011 and 2013. Richard'sfield of study was Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Tecnologica de Chile between 2000 and 2003, with a field of study in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition, they obtained a Peer Mentoring certification from OHSU/Oregon Graduate Institute in May 2011.
