Benjamin Newmeyer

Benjamin Newmeyer is an experienced technologist and engineer with a background in process engineering and formulation development. Currently, at Velo3D since June 2021, Benjamin has held roles from Process Engineer to Senior Process Engineer and Technologist, focusing on advanced manufacturing techniques. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Scientist at Nanosys, where notable contributions were made in developing efficient quantum dot emitters and enhancing device lifetimes through innovative synthesis methods. Additionally, Benjamin worked as a Formulation Engineer at Apeel Sciences, where responsibilities included scaling formulations and establishing quality control protocols. Academic background includes a B.S. in Chemistry with a concentration in Organic Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara.
