Tyler Mori

Tyler Mori is an accomplished mechanical engineer with a robust background in the engineering sector. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Velo3D since June 2022, Tyler previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer within the same company. Tyler's experience includes a tenure at KLA-Tencor as a Product Engineer from February 2018 to June 2022 and a role as a Chassis Engineering Intern at Tesla in late 2017. Additionally, Tyler contributed to Spartan Racing - SJSU Formula SAE, serving as both Suspension Team Lead and Suspension Designer from August 2013 to June 2017. Early in the career, Tyler worked as a SolidWorks CAD Consultant and CNC Machinist at Exatron. Tyler holds a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering and Design from the University of Michigan and completed undergraduate studies at San Jose State University.
