Brandon Zears

Brandon Zears is an experienced underwriter with a demonstrated history in the insurance industry, currently serving as an Underwriter at Velocity Risk Underwriters, LLC since September 2020. Previously, Zears held several positions including Senior Underwriter at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., and Production Underwriter at Greater New York Insurance Companies, specializing in various lines such as Property, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Auto, and Umbrella. Zears has developed strong relationships with agents and brokers, focused on business growth in the Chicago-land area and Kentucky, and played a key role in training junior underwriters. Zears holds a B.S. in Economics from Northern Illinois University.
