Darren Sanders

Darren joined Velocys as Vice President, Engineering in September 2022.

Darren has 30 years of engineering and construction experience, holding diverse roles with responsibilities including process design, department management (process technology, HSE, and mechanical), proposal and business development, engineering management, project management, and discipline integration with Fluor Corporation.

Darren is experienced in the development and transition of technology across international and geographic locations. His career has prioritised building safe, fit-for-purpose, optimised designs. He is experienced in keeping designs moving forward with consideration of developing technology while mitigating impacts on project schedules.

Darren has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
