Maury Blackman

Maury Blackman is an experienced leader and investor with a strong background in managing and advising technology-driven companies. As Managing Director at Pierpoint Ventures since November 2015, Maury has focused on strategic investments and growth. Concurrently, Maury serves as an Advisor at OpenGov Inc. and DroneDeploy, guiding efforts to enhance decision-making for government entities and unify the commercial drone industry, respectively. Maury holds key board positions at multiple organizations, including Masabi, Velosimo, Esper, and Forensic Logic COPLINK, contributing to innovations in urban development, law enforcement, and data intelligence. Previously, Maury was the Chairman & CEO of Premise Data, leveraging advanced technology for smarter decision-making. Maury holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Houston.
