Jerry Sun is currently serving as the Co-Founder of Velotric since December 2021. Previously, they worked as the Head of Industrial Design at 滴滴出行 from December 2017 to April 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Industrial Designer at SpeedX Cycling from November 2015 to October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Kurz Kurz Design from an unspecified date in 2011 to 2015.
Jerry Sun earned a Bachelor's degree in industrial design from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including the IF design certifications for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 from iF DESIGN. Jerry was also awarded the IDEA design award in 2015 and 2016 from the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). Furthermore, they received the Reddot product design awards in 2015, 2017, and 2019 from the Red Dot Design Award institution.
