Zhan Tang

Zhan Tang has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Zhan started their career as a Business Manager at Sydney City Motorcycles from November 2013 to March 2015. In this role, they were actively involved in the decision-making process, worked closely with the sales department, and analyzed market intelligence.

From November 2015 to February 2017, Zhan worked as an Investor Relationship Manager at Startup Funding Club. Zhan was responsible for sourcing early-stage investments and supporting startups in their development. During their time at Startup Funding Club, they raised and invested over £10 million across more than 70 high-potential startups.

In May 2017, Zhan joined Lumos Helmet as a Business Development Manager. Lumos is known for being the world's first smart bicycle helmet with integrated lights, brake, and turn signals. Zhan played a crucial role in the success of Lumos, which raised over $800,000 through a crowdfunding campaign. Zhan worked in this position until July 2021.

Zhan's latest role is with Velotric, where they are currently serving as the Head of Business Development, starting in July 2022.

Zhan Tang completed their education at the University of Technology Sydney, earning a Masters of Business Administration degree from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Girraween High School from 1998 to 2003. Zhan Tang also obtained additional certifications, including the Syndicate of the Year Award from the UK Business Angels Association in June 2016, and a Master of Business Administration certification from UTS: University of Technology Sydney in August 2013.
