Steven G. Rizk

Dr. Rizk joined Veloxis in August 2021 and is the Vice President of Medical Affairs.

Dr. Rizk is an accomplished biopharma medical affairs executive and a recognized industry leader in the transplant community. In his 20 years in the biopharma industry, he has worked on more than 15 products spanning all life-cycle stages, focusing on medical affairs and late-stage clinical development. Dr. Rizk’s work has resulted in numerous academic research collaborations and high-impact scientific publications to enhance the understanding and access to innovative therapeutics. In addition, he has been an advocate for including the voice of patients in clinical drug development and has led numerous initiatives to make complex scientific information understandable and accessible to all people.

Prior to joining Veloxis, Dr. Rizk worked at Takeda, Genentech, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Hoffmann-La Roche.

Dr. Rizk has a Bachelor’s and a Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in New Jersey and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York City.
