Ljupka Filipovic Benak

Ljupka Filipovic Benak is a Technical Lead of the Data Curation team at Velsera since January 2023, with prior experience as Team Lead and Data Curation Engineer at Seven Bridges from June 2019 to December 2022. Ljupka also served as Lead Geneticist at Aqualab laboratory diagnostics and has a strong background in genetic analysis, having introduced new analyses that increased laboratory profits. Previous roles include Research Associate at the Institute for Biological Research, focusing on the effects of prenatal drug exposure, and positions at several academic and clinical laboratories, including the University Children's Hospital and the Institute of Forensic Medicine. Ljupka holds an International Master's degree in Stem Cell Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Physiology from the University of Belgrade.
